Vignette® Window Shadings

Soft, yet durable... fashionable, yet romantic. Vignette window shadings are as soft and elegant as a drapery, yet as practical as a shade. Each shading is made of specially woven fabric that forms gently contoured folds. The color-coordinated curved headrail conceals the shading when raised, and preserves the soft folds of fabric indefinitely. Vignette shadings provide both privacy and diffused light, creating privacy while inviting a warm glow from the outside.

Functional Beauty
FABRIC-FOLD SIZES Vignette window shadings can be ordered in either 3" or 4" fabric-fold sizes. Special fabric engineering assures that folds in both sizes will retain their original shape and fullness.	VIGNETTE EVESCAPE™ An ideal alternative for bedrooms, media rooms, or anywhere superior room darkening is desired. Available in 18 fabric/color selections in the 3" fabric-fold size.
FABRIC-COVERED HEADRAIL OPTION Enhance the soft look of Vignette shadings with the fabric-covered headrail option. The headrail is covered in the same fabric as the shading for a completely soft and tailored appearance.	ACCENTS BY THE YARD™ Decorating possibilities for overtreatments and coordinated accessories are infinite using cut yardage from the Accents by the Yard program.

MULTI-PANEL
SHADINGS
You can purchase shadings up to 96" in ordered width. Shadings wider than 72" (70" with Jacquard fabric) are fabricated using multiple fabric panels.

Unless otherwise specified, a multi-panel shading will be constructed using two panels, with the split in the exact center (Fig. 1). If desired, the customer may choose a specific split location to coordinate with an architectural feature of the window. Not available with EveScape™ room darkening fabrics.

Optional Third Panel
For a surcharge, a third fabric panel may be ordered (Fig. 2). Custom splits must be specified on order form. There is a maximum of three panels. The space between panels is approximately 1/8".

EASE OF OPERATION
One of the important advantages of Vignette® window shadings over traditional soft window coverings is its ease of operation. A continuous cord loop, which works on the principle of a pulley, rotates a clutch to raise or lower the shading. Referring to the illustration (Fig. 3) below, from the fully raised position (1), pulling down on the front half of the cord loop lowers the shading (2). Continuing to pull on the cord, in the fully lowered position (3), the rear of the fabric shifts back to within 7/8" of the window or mounting surface. The shading is raised by pulling on the rear of the continuous cord loop. The fabric first moves forward, away from the window (4), and then rolls up to conceal itself inside the headrail (5, 6). When the shading is fully raised, stops on the end caps of both the headrail and bottom rail prevent further movement.
