BASIC
ORDERING
INFORMATION
In addition to the width and height
measurements, the basic information needed to order Nantucket™
Window Shadings includes quantity, color number, mounting style and
cord placement for rectangular shadings.
OPTIONS
There are also several options available
for rectangular shadings which can customize the installation to
meet individual customer needs and desires. Spacer blocks or
extension brackets, for example, allow a rectangular window shading
to clear obstructions to its movement.
Hold-Down Brackets
Hold-down brackets (Fig. 6) are used to secure the bottom of the
window shading to prevent it from swaying. When the hold-down
brackets are connected to the bottom rail, the vanes may be opened
and closed, but the shading may not be raised.

Dust Cover
The
optional dust cover shields the fabric and internal headrail
components from dirt, dust and other contaminants. With
inside mounts, the dust cover is needed only if the depth of
the window opening is less than 1 7/8", or if
the headrail extends out more than
1 5/16" from the window opening
(Fig. 7). |
Back Cover
| The
optional back cover is used with inside mounts when the You
want to conceal the open rear side of the headrail for a
more pleasing exterior look. The back cover and its brackets
add 1/4" to minimum inside mounting depths (Fig. 8). |

ADJACENT SHADINGS
To span wide window openings, Nantucket
window shadings may be installed adjacently, so that their headrails
abut. The gap between the fabric panels of the adjacent shadings
varies according to the control placement, as shown in the table
below.
