Luminette fabric by the yard, perfectly matching our Luminette sheers, goes a long way in beautifying any room with a finished look and added dimension. Can be used to complement window treatments, define an intimate corner, or add new elegance to a French door.

Product Description
Luminette fabric by the yard is the sheer face fabric of Luminette Privacy Sheers without the vanes attached. It's available in all fabrics and colors.

Versatile Applications
You can create beautifully coordinated rooms using Luminette Privacy Sheers and matching Luminette fabric by the yard in combination.

With their functional vanes, Luminette Privacy Sheers are perfect for rectangular doors and windows, while Luminette fabric is the ideal solution for hard-to-cover specialty windows.

With its soft fluid drape, the sheer fabric can be fashioned to fit a variety of shapes. The fabric can be draped, pleated, or shirred to fit archtops, ovals, rounds, and eyebrows; made into hourglass panels for doors or sidelights; or used as loose swags and overtreatments.

Ordering

When ordering Evening Star® privacy sheers, the coordinating Fabric by the Yard will be sheer, NOT room-darkening.

Sample Swatches
Swatches of Luminette fabric by the yard are available in 5" x 15" squares, also known as memo samples. Use these larger samples to coordinate sheer fabric color with other home furnishings and accessories. Gather or drape them to see how the fabric will look in a particular application.

When Luminette fabric is layered, the color
intensity increases.

About Directional Patterns
With fabrics that have directional patterns, such as Linéa, Stria and Filigree, you'll need to consider the maximum fabric width and vertical or horizontal orientation of the textured pattern when designing a specific treatment and determining the required yardage.

A Word on Color
When any sheer fabric is layered, the color intensity increases. So before you choose Luminette colors, be sure to compare layered or gathered sheer fabric with a single layer of fabric on finished Luminette Privacy Sheers®.

As with all textile fabrics, colors may vary slightly among different dye lots. Such variances are within accepted industry standards.

When you receive fabric by the yard, inspect it carefully for correct color and imperfections before cutting.

Fabric that has been cut cannot be returned.
  •  
    •
Non-defective fabric, or fabric that is returned for reasons other than the fault of Hunter Douglas, is subject to a 20% handling charge.

Returns must be initiated within 30 days of receipt of your order.
