By offering 20 diverse fabric styles and a wide color palette, Brilliance® pleated shades allow you to choose exactly what you need to fit your lifestyle and individual preferences. Designed to be as functional as they are beautiful, they feature the same high-performance hardware system used on Duette® honeycomb shades. They also feature the best cordlock there is and low-profile rails to keep stacking heights to a minimum.
EASY INSTALLATION
 Standard installation brackets, hidden from view, feature a positive tab lock to keep headrail in place at all times. Swivel brackets, a no-cost option, are used for applications where the available mounting depth is minimal
COMPLETE VERSATILITY
Brilliance pleated shades, along with appropriate hardware, can be ordered to fit just about any window there is. Our extensive variety of fabrics (all in one-inch pleat size), lets you choose not only the color, design and texture you prefer, but the degree of light filtration and privacy you want. And, because most fabrics can be ordered with room-darkening or privacy backings, the design and performance possibilities are almost endless.

  • Privacy View---With Privacy / View shades, You have the choice of two window coverings for the same window. Typically, a sheer or semi-sheer fabric is used for one panel; and a semi-opaque, room-darkening fabric, or fabric with backing is used for the other panel. Privacy / View shades can not be paneled. Shades made to maximum width of fabric only (not to exceed 72" wide).

  • Fabric Widths
    Shades that are wider than the fabric width will have an overlap seam. The manufacturer will not guarantee the placement of this seam. The fabrics Day Dreams and Venetian Crinkle cannot be overlapped and the maximum width for blinds made with these fabrics is 66". 
  • Room-Darkening and Privacy Backings 
  • Twilight - a semi-opaque fabric for privacy

Room-Darkening and Privacy Backings 
Backings are used with pleated shade fabrics to increase privacy and room darkening, add energy efficiency, and provide a uniform exterior appearance with their neutral white color. Our line includes two backings:

Twilight - a semi-opaque fabric for privacy 

Subdue - an opaque fabric for room darkening 

In addition to their use as backings, Twilight and Subdue can be used as window treatments on their own. Waterproof and practical, they are ideal for windows in such areas as garages, basements, and baths. 

HOW TO USE THE SPECIFICATION SUMMARY
 The Specification Summary is designed to be a quick reference to size maximums. The maximums are listed by width, height, and area (square footage), unless otherwise noted. Multiply measured width times height (in feet) to calculate shade area. Important: Shade dimensions must be equal to or less than all three maximum dimensions (width, height, area) to be within specification guidelines.  An "N/A" on the chart means the application is "not available" for that particular fabric.

1. With Easy Glide® shades, add 3/4" to all stacking heights.
2. For fabric with backing, add the fabric dimension to the backing dimension, then subtract 1". With Easy Glide shades, remember to add 3/4" to the total.
3. For shades with overlapping fabric panels, double the stacking height and subtract 1".
4. For fabric with backing and overlapping fabric panels, add the fabric dimension to the backing dimension, then double your total and subtract 3".
